Southampton University is located on the outskirts of the city and became an official university in 1952, expanding over the next few years to become one of the top 15 research universities in the UK. It has six campuses, including one in Malaysia and another in Winchester. The city itself is a bustling port, from which many of the world’s largest cruise liners depart and cargo containers dock. It was this port from which the Titanic set sail and there are several memorials to lost crew and passengers dotted around Southampton. There are many activities in the vicinity, including a new maritime museum, good shopping and trips out to the New Forest.
We offer several different courses at Southampton University: the Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (one year), Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory (two years) and Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (three years). Students can pay for the courses either upfront in advance (with discounts available) or through interest-free monthly instalments.
