Lindsey Lohan has been ordered to undergo an extensive outpatient programme, which includes a counselling and psychotherapy course, after being released from court-ordered rehab early.

As reported by The Press Association, the actress will undergo psychotherapy and addiction counselling courses several times a week until November. Miss Lohan must also have random drug and alcohol testing at least twice a week, and remain living in Los Angeles.

If Li-Lo doesn't comply with the orders, she'll be sent back to jail for up to 30 days.

"She has changed," claimed Miss Lohan's attorney. "She's healthy. She's clear-headed. She is positive at looking forward."

However, to encourage the former Disney star to embrace the counselling and psychotherapy, a judge dismissed two drug counts that she pleaded guilty to three years ago, and said that she'd be taken off supervised probation in November. She must pass all drug and alcohol tests and attend every counselling course.

"This was a good day for her in court," said Li-Lo's attorney. "She has complied with everything that has been asked of her."

According to The Daily Mail, the first thing the actress did after being released from rehab was to get her driving license back.

The star of Mean Girls served just 13 of her 90 days in jail because of overcrowding and good behaviour, The Daily Mail reports.
