Halle Berry told to undergo counselling
A court has advised actress Halle Berry to attend counselling sessions with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, in a bid to to improve their strained relationship.
Claiming it would be the best course of action for their child, Nahla, the court's judge made the recommendation on the back of advice received from the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.
One of the drivers behind the recommendations was the recent allegation that Aubry, who is a model, pushed or verbally abused Nahla's nanny. This incident also prompted a second batch of advice - that Aubry attend anger management classes in order to learn how to control his temper, according to Thehollywoodgossip.com.
A source who spoke to TMZ strongly denied the accusations against Aubry though, saying: "Gabriel has a little bit of a temper, but the good news is that he realises it."
It even seems daughter Nahla has been encouraged to spend time with someone who has had counselling training, despite only being the tender age of three. It is as yet unknown whether all three will attend sessions together, or whether it will be just the child's parents present. Either way, it is hoped the pair can iron out their issues and make life easier for their little girl.
It wasn't just the court's judge putting forward requests in the hearing on Monday however, as Aubry also asked for the nanny involved in the aforementioned incident to be fired. A decision was not made regarding this.
