What about fees?

There are many ways to pay for your course. Payment in advance can be made by BACS, cheque or credit card, and carries up to a 20% discount. We also accept payments by small, affordable monthly instalments.
There is some limited financial assistance available from other bodies, especially for students with low incomes, please see our easy payment page for more details.
In the unlikely event that a student chooses to leave the course, refunds (minus our costs) are available within a certain amount of time, unless paying by instalments.
Fees include classes, course materials, group supervision, tutor contact, marking and certificates. Students pay their own travel expenses, obtain their own course texts, and must pay a separate small fee to the appropriate professional bodies. There are no hidden costs.
Students are required to enrol as student members of the National Counselling Society and/or National Hypnotherapy Society (depending on their chosen course) at the start of training. This fee is currently £40 per year for the first year payable by standing order, and rises to £80 per year after year 1. Membership carries a large range of benefits to students including regular newsletters and events.
